What could possibly be better than a wedding celebration – a two day wedding celebration of course!
Heather and Paul had carefully planned a two day celebration that suited them and their friends and family perfectly.
Day one took place at Crawley Registry Office with a very intimate service with just 15 guests.
The registry office is a modern building in the centre of Crawley Town and is attached to the library, the ceremony room was light and airy and led on to a small balcony area where photos can be taken.
The registry office itself doesn’t have any gardens but we knew that we didn’t need to worry about that as the following day we were planning to meet at their reception venue, Tilgate Forest Golf Centre, early for photos!
Tilgate Forest Golf Centre makes the most of its beautiful surroundings, with floor to ceiling glazing to showcase the views across the tree lined fairways.
Before the party kicked off, Heather, Paul and myself ventured on to the course for some bride and groom portraits before heading back to the clubhouse for a quick drink and some deer spotting.
The clubhouse had been beautifully decorated by Marie of Sussex Wedding Creations using clean white linen and soft hessian fabric along with a few woodland table decorations providing a perfect countryside yet modern look which suited this venue perfectly!
At 7.30pm friends and family started to pour in, and before we knew it the party was in full swing.
Heather and Paul took to the main dancefloor to cut their utterly delectable cake made by the extremely talented Sarah at Pink Fluff Cakes and then took centre stage for their first dance.
Mike Bucknell from Sounds Entertainment played some absolute classics and had the dancefloor full all evening.
It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of Heather and Paul’s special celebration’s, I only wish that I could have been a part of their immense honeymoon too, a road trip taking in some of the most amazing sights of America!
