It seems like forever since I photographed an all day wedding and wrote a blog on it so this is a treat; let’s hope that this is a sign of things to come for 2021, and if every wedding is as magical as Christine & Brian’s was then I’m in for a corker of a year (albeit a quieter than usual one).
Mr & Mrs Costello’s big day took place at the stunning Pangdean Old Barn, set against the backdrop of the rolling South Downs.
Pangdean really is a unique venue, centred around a large oak framed barn at the heart of a working farm. Featuring a large flint walled garden and a newly renovated covered area in the main courtyard, this venue really is extraordinary.
What sets Pangdean apart from other venues is the team of staff that Nicky has put together and the mouth-watering food.
Brian and Christine’s ceremony took place in the atmospheric ‘Old Barn’ and was perfectly intimate and raw with emotion.
After exchanging their rings they gifted their beautiful daughter Ariah with her very own ring, such a sweet moment between such a loving family.
At the end of the ceremony the newly married couple and their 13 guests made their way in to the ‘Stable’ for drinks and nibbles.
As the guests then made their way over to the Courtyard for the wedding breakfast I stole Brian and Christine away for a short while for their very own photo shoot.
After dinner the afternoon was full of fun and laughter, the children played in the gardens whilst the adults chatted and mingled.
Brian and Christine cut their cake and then made their way on to the lawned area for their first dance just as the sun was setting, a perfect end to a perfect day!
