I first met Sabina & Jozef in a local coffee shop and we hit it off straight away, just 2 months later I arrived at Random Hall in Slinford to photograph their special day!
Random Hall is a 16th century farmhouse set in rural Sussex countryside complete with a purpose built barn for weddings and roaring logfire lounges, a perfect venue for this November wedding.
I found Sabina upstairs with her 4 bridesmaids getting ready with their help.
I love to arrive at a venue to find the bride in good spirits, completely relaxed and excited for the day ahead – Sabina was all 3!
Downstairs the wonderful All Blewn Up had worked tirelessly decorating the barn ready for the reception using the beautiful orange colours that the couple had chosen, the room looked exquisite with beautiful fresh flowers everywhere.
Following an intimate ceremony at Friary Church in Crawley we all made our way back to Random Hall for the reception.
On arrival, the happy couple took some time to grab a drink, speak with their guests and enjoy themselves whilst I captured some much loved candid shots
Sabina & Jozef had chosen not to write a list of the formal photos that they wanted taken, and instead decided to just go with the flow on the day.
As it was a beautifully sunny yet extremely cold Novembers day we decided to head outside for these photos, quickly rounding up the family members that we needed and then sending them back in to the warm again as quickly as we could.
Back inside it was time for the all-important wedding breakfast and speeches, these were kicked off with a quick shot of vodka and a resounding ‘cheers’ echoed around the room.
This definitely set the tone for the whole evening! Amazing speeches were given by all, a truly stunning cake by Sabina’s incredibly talented godmother Nicki Rodrigues was cut and then followed by the first dance.
Then this party really got started, with Jozef’s Dad showing everyone how it was done!
Quite often couples only book me until just after their first dance, it’s always nice when I get to stay that bit longer to capture some fantastic moments of guests tearing up the dancefloor and singing their hearts out!
What a day, and night!
